Good looking hair starts with an amazing hair care routine. So after caring for your locks for weeks, it might not be such a good idea to use a hot hair tool. Tip #1 Reduces frizz and hair damage, adds shine

I need a flat iron that reduces frizz and hair damage. I’m certainly not a hair professional and so it hard to tell when I'm putting too much damage on my hair. So finding a flat iron that already provides this is the key to my heart. We all want the shine that doesn't weigh down your hair, certain flat irons can give you extra shine through their technology. Read product labels before purchasing!

tip #2 One heat setting vs 2 or more settings

One heat setting is ideal because you don't have to question whether the setting it’s on will be okay for your hair. However, if you have thin hair then having an iron with more than one setting can help you lower the temperature to the lowest one, reducing excessive heat.

tip #3 heats instantly and has an automatic turn off

I definitely don't have time to wait for my flat iron to heat up. So one that can provide instant heat makes my eyes light up. I love that certain ones come with an automatic turn off, what a life saver. I can't tell you how many times I have wondered if I've turned it off in the morning.

tip #4 titanium seems the best way to go

After much research, it seems like a flat iron made of titanium is the way to go. Most flat irons are either ceramic or titanium, but titanium limits the amount of damage and is great for thick hair. It’s also ideal for the morning when you want super fast results. Read those products labels please. I hope these tips make shopping for a flat iron a bit easier.
